The water leak detector is a wireless Wi-Fi alarm system that notifies you when it detects an uncontrolled water leak. When the water leak detector is activated, a 130 dB audible alarm sounds automatically. At the same time, ‘push’ notifications are sent via the ‘Smart Life’ application to your mobile device. In this way, you can monitor the condition of your home while you are on the move.

The water leak detector comes supplied with a specially designed IP67 waterproof detection probe located at the end of the detection cable. When the device detects the presence of water, the ‘Smart Life’ application sends a notification to your mobile device regardless of where you are. This way, you can be sure that you will always be aware of potential water leakage problems so that you can act quickly to protect your property.

Simplified steps to install the app on your mobile device via Apple/Google Play Store

By pressing the switch to the ‘ON’ position, you will activate your water leak detector. The indicator light around the power button shows you that the device is on.

When the waterproof probe detects water leakage, a loud 130dB audible alarm will sound and a notification will be sent to your mobile device to remind the owner.

By briefly pressing the ‘SET’ button, you regulate the duration of the sound alarm. When you hear one ‘beep’, it means that the sound of the alarm will last for 10 seconds. When you hear two beeps, the alarm will sound for 20 seconds, and when you hear three beeps, the alarm will sound for 30 seconds.

This device is intended for indoor use only. Never remove fixed parts of the device for internal adjustments.

For proper use, ensure that the device operates within the specified temperature range (see technical characteristics).

Small children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.

This device can be used by children older than 8 years and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, i.e. people who do not have experience or knowledge, if they are under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety and if they act in accordance with the requirements related to safe use device and understand the associated hazards.

Do not disassemble or repair the device unless you are an authorized technician.

Avoid exposure to direct heat sources. Do not use in places where flammable and explosive materials are stored.

The device contains an IP67 waterproof probe specially designed for water detection, which is located at the very top of the 98.5 cm long detection cable.

Install the device in an area prone to flooding, such as the basement, bathroom, kitchen or near the device (washing machine, dishwasher, water heater…).

In any place where a harmful water leak may occur, the device gives you the opportunity to react quickly, thus avoiding costly water damage.

Do not pour water or other liquids on the housing of the device, and do not put it in water or other liquids. If water enters the case, it can damage the batteries and the internal structure of the device.

If you suspect possible damage, check for discoloration around the battery.

Do not use solvents or cleaning solutions. Clean only with a soft and dry cloth.

Attach the device to the wall using the appropriate screws and use the included detection cable with a waterproof probe at the top of the cable.
